Photographer Kirsten Bowers has a keen eye for uniqueness of animals, for which she specialises – capturing their unique character and endearing nature. An animal that is dear to her heart and strongly influences her work is her own dog – Wolf Cub. The challenge for her new identity began simply – the one main influence of her career needed to be centre stage – the next challenge was how to represent him. The outcome was to create a visual that also reflects the rich darkness of her work and the intense look her dog presents in photos, with the punctuation of those piercing orange eyes.
